How the hell is July over already?! This summer as just been flying by! We’ve had a ton family fun, delicious food and downtime, but I’m excited for MORE! I’m also ready for early September when all the kids go back to school and the splash pads and parks go back to being empty haha. Here’s a few of my July 2019 favorites!

Jesse and I go through obsessive periods when it comes to restaurants. We will hit up the same place every week, sometimes twice a week. Right now our obsession is Tazza Kitchen. All of the food is amazing and so are the cocktails. It also helps that Mara is obsessed with the pasta and meatballs there, so we all enjoy going there. Tazza isn’t just in Richmond either! There are locations in Raleigh, NC and Columbia, SC!
The Ninja Express Chop food processor is probably my favorite kitchen gadget ever. I use it every single day for Bellamy. When she first started solids I would puree her food with it and now I give it a few quick pulses to chop it up. It’s so much faster than cutting it by hand. Which I realize makes me sound lazy, buuuuttt it’s true.
This favorite is subliminal messaging and product placement at it’s finest. We’ve been watching Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee on Netflix and Lavazza is one of the sponsors. Throughout the show they show the logo and slow motion pouring coffee and brewing the coffee and so I just had to try it! It is such a delicious coffee! I’m obsessed! It is ground into a fine powder, like the consistency of cocoa powder, and is packed full of flavor. The thought of this coffee is what gets me out of bed at 6:30 every morning. It’s seriously THAT good.
I’m not sure if this one is gonna be a little TMI but I’m obsessed with Aerie’s underpants. I used to be a Victoria’s Secret girl, but I feel like their quality went sooo far downhill. I decided to give Aerie a try and they have not disappointed. They are cute, comfortable and the quality has been fantastic. I’m a convert and a big fan!
I grew up going to Busch Gardens with my family and grandparents. When Jesse and I started dating we made a tradition that we would go every summer. After we got married, we added Christmastown to that tradition. Now, we have passes because we can’t get enough of taking Mara! We have spent so much of our summer at Busch Gardens. Mara is at a fun age where she can ride a ton of the rides and we have always loved walking around the park. Now I just can’t wait for Belle to be big enough to go on the rides too! My favorite thing about Busch Gardens has always been the scenery. They spare no detail and the landscaping is stunning. If you’re in VA and have never been, you have to go!
OMG i second you on aerie underwear. underwaerie?
Hahaha! It’s just SO good!
