Easy Homemade Guacamole

Delicious homemade guacamole made with fresh avocado, red onion, tomatoes, limes and cilantro.

  • 3 avocados mashed
  • 1/2 cup red onion diced
  • 1/8 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes diced
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • lime juice squeezed from 1/2 a lime
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp pepper to taste


  • Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit.
  • Scoop out the two halves of the avocado from the skin. Use a fork to mash the avocado until it is a lumpy, but creamy consistency.
  • Finely dice 1/4 cup of red onion and add it to a bowl with avocado
  • Cut the tomatoes in half and squeeze out the juice and seeds
  • Quarter tomatoes and add to bowl
  • Juice half a lime directly into the bowl
  • Chop 1/8 cup of fresh cilantro and add
  • Add 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste (usually at least 1/4 tsp)
  • Serve with tortilla chips or alongside a dish
