Tick Tock

Nothing beats a 3 day weekend! Perfect time to get things done, like hanging a certain giant clock. We took out our ever trusty Monkey Hooks and had it up in about 5 minutes! And now the room is looking pretty styling with it’s new time-keeping bling. 🙂 Here’s the smile-inducing view when I walk in the door. And the other side of the room.  Wouldn’t be a complete post without a closeup.Speaking of living room bling, I also snagged this cute little guy at Home Goods to help kick off fall in our house. He’s so cute and I definitely catch myself staring at him while curled up on the couch with a pumpkin spice candle burning. I’ll be decorating the rest of the mantle in the next week or so, and this little guy will be the center of attention. Have you been blinging out your house lately? Any awesome purchases? How about fall decor?

  1. That’s a perfect spot for your clock! I worked this weekend on organizing the basement – and that included making an area especially for holiday decorations, of which, fall took up the most space! Can’t wait to start!!

  2. I love your owl. I was looking through the Pier1 Imports catalogue the other day and a couple of cute owls caught my eye. I was thinking owls might have to work their way into some fall decor as well.

  3. Love the owl! I have been trying to decide if I want to decorate our mantle for the seasons. I just can’t decide. It is definitely a great spot for fun projects.

  4. The clock looks great; and I love the owl! I actually have quite a few owls on my mantel waiting to be decorated for fall =)

  5. Love the big clock, and the owl is adorable! He’ll be the perfect centerpiece for an autumn mantel 🙂

I haven’t done any decorating in our house for months, and I don’t usually decorate seasonally (except for Christmas). It takes me so long to decorate something like a mantel, I don’t want to mess with it when I finally get it right!
