How to Build a Halloween Pumpkin Charcuterie Board
This fun Pumpkin Snack Board is perfect for your next Halloween party or spooky movie night. Make one with your favorite orange foods arranged into a notable pumpkin shape.
Step One – First, arrange the largest orange items along the sides of a round board. This board lines carrots along the left of the board and Peeps Pumpkin marshmallows on the right side. Fill in the top with several sections of peeled and separated clementines.
Step Two – Next, build the mouth of the Jack o Lantern. Center the middle of the mouth with the center of the board. Form the outline of the smile with black licorice. Trim the licorice into small pieces to create a fun shape. This pumpkin has two “teeth” along the top of the smile.
Step Three – Fill the pumpkin mouth with chocolate chips. Be sure none of the board shows through!
Step Four – Arrange the Peach Rings below the mouth. Since peach rings have orange on one side and yellow on the other, be sure the orange side is facing up on the board.
Step Five – Next, create a vertical line of orange slices candies down the center of the board. These gummies are thick and stable, so they help hold other snacks in place.
The Left Side
Step Six – Arrange a vertical line of clementine sections down the center of the left half of the board. There should be about 2 inches of space between the carrots and clementines and the clementines and orange slices.
Step Seven – Fill the space between the orange slices and clementines with Goldfish crackers. Then fill the space next to the carrots with candy corn.
The Right Side
Step Eight – Arrange a vertical line of Cheez-Its down the center of the right side of the board. There should be about 2 inches of space between the Peeps Pumpkins and Cheez-Its and the Cheez-Its and orange slices.
Step Nine – Fill the space between the orange slices and Cheez-Its with Cadbury Mini Harvest Handfuls. Then fill the space next to the Peeps Pumpkins with Cheetos.
Step Ten – Create a rectangle stem at the top of the pumpkin with Green Apple Sour Punch Straws.
Step Eleven – Place two blue corn tortilla chips on either side of the orange slice center line for the eyes of the jack-o-lantern. Use the most perfect triangle chips you can!

My board is 18″ in diameter. I purchased my board from HomeGoods. It’s a great place to find cheese boards on a budget. Just be sure your board is labeled “food safe” and isn’t for home decor. Food-safe boards are treated with food-safe wax to keep harmful substances from leaching into your food.

Can I Make This Charcuterie Board in Advance?
Yes! Since this board doesn’t use any dairy or meat it doesn’t need to remain refrigerated. I wouldn’t recommend making it a day in advance because the crackers and gummy candies will be stale. The carrots and oranges will also dry out. However, you can absolutely make the board an hour or two in advance!
