Refrigerated sugar cookie dough is also a great alternative. Allow the dough to reach room temperature, or become slightly less cold, so the marshmallows can be mixed into it.
    • Ingredients for Homemade Sugar Cookie Dough – All-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Vanilla Icing – Top the cookies with vanilla icing so the cereal sticks to the tops. Use a prepackaged icing, or make homemade icing with powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy whipping cream.
  • Lucky Charms Cereal – You can’t have Lucky Charms cookies without Lucky Charms cereal on top! Use the General Mills Lucky Charms, or purchase a generic cereal with tasty marshmallow bits on the cereal aisle. You’ll also need about a cup of extra marshmallows to bake into the sugar cookies.
