Create a fun Halloween banner inspired by Disney’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party. The tutorial includes a Disney Halloween SVG.
One of my favorite Halloween memories is when I went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World. The park was decorated with pumpkins. The characters were in costume. And there was so many fun Halloween treats.
There is even a special Halloween parade. Characters dance and perform to a song called “Boo to You.” That song was the inspiration for this fun Halloween banner.

I even made little Mickey Mouse-shaped pumpkins to replace the O’s. This is the perfect Disney-themed Halloween banner.

How to Create a Disney Halloween Banner
This fun little banner is simple to create with a Cricut Joy!
Supplies You’ll Need
- Cricut Joy
- Black cardstock
- Paper cutter
- Assorted colors of vinyl (I used pink, light blue, and light purple)
- String
Halloween Banner Tutorial
Use the Cricut Joy to cut out 8 banners on black cardstock. It was more affordable to buy a pack of 8.5×11 cardstock and cut it to size using a paper cutter.

In Cricut Design Space, I found a banner design that I liked. I added two small holes at the tops of the banner design. Then I cut them out using my Cricut Joy. The banner dimensions are 5.5 x 7.5.

After cutting out the banners, I created simple Mickey Mouse pumpkins. The Mickeys act as the O’s in the Boo To You banner. The pumpkin dimensions should be 5.5 x 6.5.

I used the font BFC Spooky Ghost in Cricut Design Space for the rest of the text.

Cut the Mickey pumpkins and the letters on vinyl. I used the colors Light Purple, Tulip, and Powder Blue in permanent Smart vinyl for this banner.
Customize With Different Colors
The great thing about creating your own banner is the ability to customize it! Change the color of the vinyl to any combination you like.
Try all orange for a more traditional look. Or green and purple for some Hocus Pocus vibes!
I love black and pastel colors for Halloween, so that was my choice.
