I wrote many personal blog posts over the years to help people get to know me, my life and to *maybe* help others feel a little less alone.
Over the years, I struggled with many personal issues like depression, body image shame, anxiety, and a miscarriage. These issues piled up behind the scenes and made me almost quit blogging at one point. And I still struggle with these issues daily.
In late 2019, I was diagnosed with PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder). PMDD basically means that I experience depressive episodes almost every month. It continues to be one of the greatest struggles and I share it candidly.
Friends. I have fallen off the bandwagon. And I’ve fallen hard. In fact, as I type this I’m eating taquitos, orange soda and Midnight Milky Ways (which is seriously the best candy ever. Dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla nougat. OMG yum!) I let the holidays …
