Bunny Cinnamon Roll Ingredients
- Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls – These adorable bunny rolls require jumbo-sized pre-packaged cinnamon rolls. The larger rolls make it easier to form large bunny ears out of the dough. My favorite brand is Annie’s Cinnamon Rolls. Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls also work well. You can use homemade cinnamon rolls if you prefer. For me, holidays are easier if I don’t try to make everything from scratch.
- Icing – Use the white icing cinnamon rolls come with, or your favorite flavored icing, like cream cheese frosting. You can either cover the cinnamon rolls with icing or just add a few icing whiskers. Add a bit of food coloring to make colorful icing.
- M&M’s – Add a pink little nose with a pink M&M or pink jelly beans.
- Raisins – Give your little bunny breakfast eyes with two small raisins on each bunny roll. This is optional. Skip them if you don’t like raisins or use chocolate chips instead.

How to Make Bunny Cinnamon Rolls
Make these fun Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls with store-bought dough, icing, and a few candies. They are a fun way to make breakfast festive without adding extra work to the morning. It’s one of my favorite easy 3-ingredient recipes.
Step One – First, open the can of cinnamon rolls and lay each whole cinnamon roll on a greased baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. To cut down on cleanup time, line the cookie sheet with parchment paper instead.
Step Two – Slowly unroll the two outer layers of the unbaked cinnamon rolls. Use the unrolled dough to form two bunny ears at the top of the roll. Make the ears at least 2 to 3 inches tall. The ears need to stand straight up to give the cinnamon roll dough the most bunny shape.
Step Three – Once the ears are formed, press the ends of the dough back into the cinnamon roll. Be sure all of the dough is securely attached.

Step Four – Bake the rolls according to the package directions on the dough can. They will be a beautiful golden brown.

Step Five – After the cinnamon roll bunnies finish baking spread icing over the top of the cinnamon roll. Use the icing from the cinnamon roll can or use a homemade icing. Unless you want to skip this step.
Step Six – Next, add the pink candy nose and raisin eyes. If you skipped icing the whole bunny cinnamon roll, apply three thin lines of icing on either side of the nose for the bunny whiskers.
Step Seven – Serve these adorable Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast or add them to a festive Easter brunch board.

FAQ’s

Yes! I have a full post for making cinnamon rolls in the air fryer. It takes less time, but the result is just as delicious.
Sure! Skip the eyes and nose and these small bunnies are still adorable. You could also add festive sprinkles instead!
I doubt you’ll have any leftovers, but if you do you can save them with an easy weeknight snack. Once the rolls cool to room temperature, store any leftovers in an airtight container or wrap them in plastic wrap. Store them at room temperature or in the refrigerator if you use a perishable icing.
