How to Assemble a Barbie Snack Board
This Barbie charcuterie board is arranged on a round wooden board with a “B” for Barbie in the center. I arranged the pink watermelon licorice in the shape of a B first. Then I filled in all of the remaining space with candy and popcorn.
Step 1 – Outline the letter B with pink licorice. I’ve found that licorice is the best candy for creating outlines. I use it for all of my character boards, like this Black Widow snack board.
Step 2 – Use pink sour strips to create the holes in the B. Loosely ball the strips together for the round holes.
Step 3 – Fill the B with popcorn. Use any flavor of popcorn you prefer! I like regular buttered popcorn. But a sweet Kettle corn or white chocolate-covered popcorn would be fun!
Step 4 – Fill the left side of the Barbie charcuterie board with the pink and white frosted animal crackers. Stack the cookies to fill in all of the space.
Step 5 – Place fresh raspberries along the top of the board. Fill the raspberries in tightly against the top of the B.
Step 6 – Fill the right side of the board with pink Starbursts and the remaining sour strips.
Step 7 – Finally, place the Smart Sweets Sour Melon candy along the bottom of the B.
*The key to a good-looking charcuterie or snack board is to fill the space! The fuller a board is, the better it looks. No blank space allowed!*
