Yay for Friday! I’m so excited the weekend is here! Jesse and I are hosting our first big blowout party at the new house this weekend, so I’ve been busy getting ready (hence why the curtains are taking so long, etc). I’m trying some recipes off Pinterest that I’ll be sharing with you over the next few weeks, it’ll be a mini series called Cook Out Cookin’! And of course on Monday I’ll show you my new curtains! I’ve also got some mood boards coming and an updated look around the house!
But for today let’s chill out and celebrate Friday by looking at some things that I’ve spied on other blogs and Pinterest that I really want!
#1 is a chandelier for the master bedroom. I dont want one this ornate, just a smallish brass one that I’ll spray paint white. Jesse is strongly opposed to this idea :\ (I also love the mirror in the picture)
I’d also love a big kitchen table (like for 6-8 people) with reclaimed wood as the table top. We either want to buy a table and give it a new top or make one.
A sectional! I’ve been searching Craigslist everyday, but no luck so far! I really want one though, just not for $1000…
Cute and modern chairs for the living room. They would be a accent pieces for the room, but I can get them until we get a sectional. I love these printed slipper chairs though.
And since everything has been about the house so far, here’s a little something for me!
Summer clothes! All this warm weather has me itching for shorts and sundresses. And to not get too ahead of myself, I also really want a pair of coral jeans for the spring! They are so bright and cute!

I want a sectional too, but I don’t think it’s in the cards for me until we buy a house about 2 years from now. We almost bought one a year ago when we bought a new couch, but it wouldn’t fit in the house so we settled for a regular one. Hope you find what you’re looking for!
And I LOVE that 1st outfit. Especially the scarf. I should start wearing scarves.
I have that same table pinned! We are looking to build ourselves a table for our dining room too.. Never done it before, but how hard can it be, right?! Right.

Love that table inspiration. I want a large family table like that too! We bought a sectional for our living room when we moved and I’m so glad we did. My problem now is that all I want is sectionals- I can’t picture a normal sofa anymore lol.

I’m going to a party this weekend too. Some friends of ours just moved into a new apartment so they are throwing a party. We are doing a potluck, so I have to run to the store and pick up a few things to make Buffalo Chicken bites. They are delicious. I found the recipe on Pinterest and made them for the Super Bowl. Andrew ate almost all of them by himself. Have fun!
I absolutely love that table. I’ve been searching for something like that, but no luck so far. I’m hoping I can get it second hand and just fix it up. And have fun with your party! Pinterest is a lifesaver when it comes to party food!
