Tuna Burgers

If you’re looking for a quick, easy, but healthy and cheap dinner option than look no further! Jesse and I tried this recipe last week and fell in love, we actually made it for dinner again last night. I found the recipe on Pinterest, originally from here, and of course tweaked it so that the ingredients were things that I already had on hand at the house. My recipe probably has a few more calories than the original but it’s just as tasty, and better for you than take out!

These are really simple to make too! Just mix bread crumbs (I use crushed up croutons) with 2 cans of tuna, an egg, some mayo, parsley, dill and salt+pepper in a bowl.

The easiest way to mix this together, and make sure the egg is broken up is to use your hands! Which is always more fun to me 🙂

Then form the mixture into patties, place on a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Then plop your burger on a bun, or plate, but we prefer buns with mayo, mustard, lettuce and pickles, and enjoy!

2 cans tuna
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
2 gloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
3 tbsp mayo
1/4 tsp parsley
1/4 tsp dill
salt and pepper

Let’s Get Cookin’:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a bowl mix all of your ingredients, using your hands to blend it all together.
Form the mixture into patties and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes and serve hot.
