I love football, but not necessarily because of the games. I love the food that comes with it! It’s so fun to get together with friends, or even just our little family, and share a meal in front of the tv. My personal favorite dish is Buffalo Chicken Dip. It’s wings, but in dip form. What could be better?!
This recipe is super simple and super yummy. It’s cream cheese, chicken, ranch dressing, cheese, and Frank’s RedHot Originial sauce. You can used canned chicken for this recipe, but I’ve found that boiling and shredding fresh chicken tastes WAY better. Once your chicken is cooked and shredded, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Put your cream cheese in the preheated oven for 5-10 minutes to melt a bit. Then, add your chicken to the melted cream cheese and coat evenly. Add your sauces and half of the shredded cheese and bake for 20 minutes. Top with the rest of the shredded cheese and bake for another 5 minutes. Let it cool for a bit and enjoy with chips or celery sticks. I prefer celery sticks because I love celery with actual wings. Plus, it makes it feel like I’m being a tiny bit healthy. An added tip that I learned from Jesse is to use a vegetable peeler and peel the stringy part from the back of the celery. It makes it way easier to eat!
This dip is always a huge crowd-pleaser and I make it a lot for parties or game days. It’s not overly spicy thanks to the ranch and all the cheese, so even people that don’t like spicy foods should enjoy it. Happy Friday!
