Christmas Crafts and Family Pictures

Last year my girl friends all got together in December to work on Christmas crafts and we had a blast, so I decided to host our craft night this year and try to make it an annual thing. It was a ton of fun and nothing beats being productive while hanging out with friends and drinking wine. Some of the girls brought their Christmas cards to finish and a few just came to hang out.By the end of the night my dining room and kitchen floor were covered in glitter, which made it way more festive ;) It was also really fun to see one of the girls making a no sew blanket. I don’t think she saw my blog post, but I’ll take the credit anyway ;) Around the same time we did craft night I also took my siblings out to the park for another round of Christmas pictures for my mom. We’ve been doing this for 5 years now and it’s my mom’s favorite gift. I also love getting to look back at how much we’ve changed, just since last year! I can’t believe it’s already Christmas time! Have you finished all your shopping and preparations? Jesse sister will be here to stay with us this weekend and I’ll be cooking half of Christmas Eve dinner on Monday! Plus I can’t wait to dive into those presents under the tree!

The sibling photo idea is such a cute one! I make my mom a calendar each year for Christmas with all family photos in it for each month- it’s her favourite gift each year too! I can’t believe Christmas is in a week! I still have so much to do!!

  3. That sounds like a super fun night! And the pictures for your mom are very cute. I wish I was all done with Christmas preparations, but I have to finish making my homemade butter cream and coconut cream filled chocolates and I need to wrap all my presents still. Ahhhhhhh! How is Christmas right around the corner already?!?! (Plus, I need this stuff done by Saturday because we are having an early celebration with my side of the family at my sister’s in CT!)
